Brainstorming.

This all started a few days ago. We had not seen each other for quite a long time and decided to get together and talk about how we’ve been the past couple of months. Sitting in the living room with a glace of wine, we talked about a lot. Then we started about how we would like to refurbish old furniture into some pretty awesome pieces of furniture. We started brainstorming about how we could refurbish together. Then the idea of a small business occurred to us. Since we are students and do not have a lot of money, selling the furniture will help us financing what we love to do.

We decided to call our company The Crazy Dutch Industry. The Crazy Dutch Industry has a main goal. “Re-using to create new design” . The Idea is to refurbish old furniture and sell it online. The consumer can buy his or her product and read all about it on this blog. So you buy your chair, and read how it’s made, what inspired us to make it and the story behind it.

We decided to make furniture per collection. Each collection is inspired by a theme or subject. Our first collection has to be finished in 6 months, and will be completely inspired by Scandinavian culture, history and lifestyle.
